Minutes from GEN-Europe´s General Assembly of members, June 1998

The assembly had been held at the eco-village of Torri Superiore near Ventimiglia, Italy from the 26th. to 28th. of June 1998.

Ad 1. a)
Eco-village networks and existing eco-villages can be full members of GEN-Europe and have the right to vote. Associate members (other legal entities, eco-village initiatives and individuals) have supportive function during the assemblies. The GEN-Europe council will discuss a better way of including associate members in the decision making process.
Ad 1 b)
The eco-village definition had been discussed and amplified. See the definition in the appendix to the articles.
Ad 1 c)
Only of full members can be on the council of GEN-Europe. it was generally agreed that the council can have more members over and above than the official five, as the current tasks dictate. List of members follows below.
