Three recent studies suggest that ecovillages – intentional communities designed to combine low ecological impact with participatory social structures – may hold important clues as to how we can reduce resource use AND maintain high quality of life. Gaia University launched
in Europe"The response to Gaia University in its first year of operation has been astounding", say founders and GEN activists Andy Langford and Liora Adler. achieved! It has taken a lot of meticulous,
hard work and scientific testing. The
Ecovillage of Sieben Linden - in cooperation
with others - receive the merit for the work
and lobbying. The UN World Habitat Award
has just chosen Sieben Linden as one of the
10 most interesting projects in sustainable
